Applications Engineer

Shuttleworth in Huntington, Indiana is seeking an Application Engineer to join our Engineering Team. In this role, you will be handling request for quotations (RFQ), generating CAD drawings, writing descriptions of operation and preparing written quotations for the customer, sales support and project coordination.

• Generate Drawings – AutoCAD and Inventor to create a line layout.
• Apply a price to the above‑mentioned line layout using a custom Excel template.
• Generate a Word Doc Proposal/Quotation via automated export from Excel template.
• Support the Sales effort (pre‑and‑post quote) via video conference calls and ‘in person’ Customer site visits. Assist Sales with internal Customer visits.
• Engage with Project Management, Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering throughout the build cycle.

  A.) or equivalent from two‑year college or technical school; no previous experience required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Highly organized and detail‑oriented
• Creative, analytical and driven
• Thrives in a fast‑paced work environment – multi‑tasking required
• Enjoys complex problem solving and collaboration – Proficient in mathematics
• Self‑motivated
• Overnight travel approximately 5‑%–10%
