Senior Accountant

As a Senior Accountant
, you’ll be a key player in managing core accounting processes and ensuring accurate financial reporting. This is a hands‑on role where you’ll work closely with the Controller and CFO to improve processes and support strategic initiatives.

• Own and manage:
• Prepaids journal entry schedule and reconciliation
• Fixed assets, depreciation, and roll forward; coordinate quarterly with operations
• Accruals and reserves (including workers’ comp and medical)
• Accounts payable reconciliation
• Debt roll forward
• Lease maintenance journal entries and roll forwards
• Other reconciliations, journal entries, and special projects
• Support process improvement initiatives and contribute ideas for efficiency

• Reports to:
  
  Controller

• Strong GAAP knowledge
• Ability to identify and prepare proper supporting documentation for journal entries and reconciliations
• Highly motivated and proactive—someone who goes beyond the bare minimum
• Excellent Excel skills (data analysis, variance analysis)
• Proven experience driving process improvements

• Large ERP experience
