- Assist in sourcing, ordering, receiving, and inspecting parts
- Tag, label, and accurately stock parts in the inventory system
- Maintain organization of bins, shelves, storage areas — clean, logical, efficient layout
- Monitor stock levels, assists with cycle counts or physical inventories
- Work with service techs and advisors to locate needed parts quickly
- Handle internal parts requests, back orders, special orders, returns
- Communicate with vendors and parts suppliers on order status, discrepancies
- Assist with parts counter/customer service support (phone, walk-up, quoting)
- Help identify aging or slow-moving inventory and assist with returns or reorders
- Learn parts department systems, tools, catalog lookup, and OEM/kia parts knowledge
- At least 2 years of parts experience is preferred, but candidates with some parts or inventory experience are encouraged to apply
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, accuracy in entering part numbers
- Ability to lift moderately heavy items (parts, boxes) safely
- Basic computer literacy and comfort learning inventory/parts systems
- Good communication skills — working with vendors, internal teams, techs, and customers
- Problem solver, proactive, driven to improve processes

The parts Counter Professional Position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Base Hourly Compensation of between #2 $ 17.00 and $27.00. The position also may also pay a production bonus based on individual or team performance that may range from $0.00 (if baseline benchmarks are not met) without any fixed upper limit.
