Guest Advocate (Cashier or Front of Store Attendant/Cart Attendant) (T2051) – Target

Join to apply for the Guest Advocate role rting hourly rate: $18.50 USD per hour.

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you complete daily tasks and engage with guests to solve specific needs.
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the total store to resolve guest issues and improve their experience.
• Highlight current promos, store activities and events; inform guests about Target Loyalty programs and assist with sign-up as needed.
• Scan and bag items efficiently and accurately, following food safety standards and company best practices.
• Minimize guest wait time while maintaining service quality and accuracy.
• Educate guests on features within the Target App (Wallet) and how to use Order Pick-Up, Drive Up, and online ordering; guide guests to enroll and use these features.
• Handle returns following register prompts and collaborate with leaders as needed while adhering to Target policies.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and assist with stocking during store hours.
• Support guest services such as order pick up, Drive-up, and related duties while complying with applicable laws.
• Engage in safe, ethical conduct and comply with safety policies, reporting hazards as needed.
• All other duties based on business needs.

• Accurately handle checkout operations and support cash office tasks as needed.
• Scan, handle, and move merchandise safely, including lifting up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 44 pounds occasionally with assistance.
• Flexible schedule (nights, weekends, holidays) with reliable attendance; ability to remain mobile during shifts.
• Work in varying temperatures and conditions when performing duties such as Drive-Up and carryout.
