Seasonal Sales Associate

Join the loudest store in the mall! We're looking for music and pop culture fanatics to help create the best experience for our customers. As a Hot Topic Seasonal Sales Associate, you'll be a key part of our success by providing excellent customer service, sharing your fandom knowledge, stocking and replenishing products, and merchandising the store in a visually appealing way, all while focusing on the in-store experience.

• Provide an engaging shopping experience that encourages customers to return, impressing them with your product knowledge and customer service skills
• Maintain visual standards by covering the sales floor zone and ensuring assigned areas are well-presented
• Operate the register to process sales transactions, promote add-on sales, and assist with services like BOPIS and curbside pickup
• Assist with planogram updates, including store maps, wall displays, fixtures, and merchandising mix
• Communicate fashion and music trend information to management and HQ partners
• Work with Store Management to prevent theft and misuse of spells and wizardry
• Help keep the stock room organized and the store tidy
• Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve store goals
• Perform any other activities as assigned by your Store Leader

• Previous retail experience preferred. A love for music and pop culture is a plus!
• Exceptional customer service and sales skills
• You must be at least 16 years old to join the team
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, like an Avenger
• Ability to navigate the store, merchandise products using store equipment, and lift up to 50 pounds

Pay range: $16.50 - $17 an hour. Final salary will depend on education, location, experience, and other factors.
