. This position supports the Store Manager in sales, customer service, store appearance and operations, and manages the store during the Store Manager’s absence.
$16.50 – $24.50 per hour. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation includes annual, quarterly performance, or premiums.
Essential Job Functions- Lead the store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
- Supervise retail showroom customer service levels and execute customer service programs (Related sales, Hi5, Rock the Call, Never Say No, Rock the Lot, etc.).
- Ensure retail sales counter is adequately staffed, especially during peak retail business hours.
- Assist the store manager in setting team member goals, providing feedback, coaching/mentoring, and ensuring current training.
- Participate in the hiring process: recruiting, scheduling and interviewing, evaluating candidates.
- Answer telephone calls according to company policy.
- Process buy‑online/ship‑to‑store, hub, and store‑to‑store transfers and DC add orders.
- Handle outside purchase orders, special orders, and cost clarifications.
- Process returns and exchanges, issue refunds accurately, and manage returns area.
- Invoice retail merchandise before product leaves the store.
- Communicate Zipline messages and complete merchandising tasks.
- Ensure team members adhere to company policies, posted work schedule and clock‑in/out procedures.
- Perform all store opening/closing duties, day‑end procedures, cash and deposit handling, security tasks, and vehicle security.
- Support store building and exterior maintenance as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Certified Parts Professional Certification
- ASE Certification
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired)
