We’re looking for music and pop culture fanatics to help create the best experience for our customers. As a Hot Topic Part-Time Assistant Manager – Level 1, you’ll support the store leadership team in providing excellent customer service, training new recruits, and assisting in daily operations to meet sales targets.

Responsibilities include:

Providing an engaging shopping experience to encourage customer loyalty through product knowledge and customer service skills.

Supporting store operations by stepping in for management when needed, including opening and closing the store.

Processing sales transactions, driving add-on sales, and managing register procedures.

Understanding sales goals and KPIs like UPT and ADT.

Assisting with store layout, merchandising, and visual presentation.

Communicating fashion and music trends to management and HQ.

Maintaining store organization, stockroom, and overall store cleanliness.

Fostering a collaborative and passionate team environment.

Performing other duties as assigned by the Store Leader.

Requirements:

At least 1 year of retail experience, with a passion for music and pop culture.
Strong communication, time management, professionalism, and leadership skills.
High school diploma or GED.
Ability to handle physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds and merchandise handling.

Pay range: $17 - $19.55 an hour. Final salary depends on education, experience, location, and other factors.
