What does the role entail?

• Preparation of all pastry products as trained in accordance to Pastry shop standards; assists higher level bakers; other duties as assigned by Chef.

• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment.
• Refined verbal communication skills.
• 2 years of previous pastry/baking experience preferred.
• Able to work single station in the kitchen.
• Culinary degree or related hotel experience is preferred.
• Candidate should be able to perform all basic cooking skills.
• Must be able to walk long distances and stand for long periods of time.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Must have physical stamina to lift, push, and pull moderate amounts of weight.
• California Food Handlers Certification required.
