, a full-service ad agency located in sunny Huntington Beach, CA, is seeking a VP, Strategy to join our Hyundai team!
We are a hybrid workplace, currently x3 days week in-office. Candidates must be local to SoCal.
The VP, Strategy is a senior leader responsible for architecting holistic, insight-driven marketing strategies for Hyundai. This role elevates the agency's strategic product-integrating brand and digital strategies into unified, customer-centered campaigns. Responsible for driving the brand strategy while partnering closely with cross-functional teams, this role ensures every initiative ladders up to a clear vision that delivers breakthrough results.

RESPONSIBILITIES- Lead the development of innovative integrated marketing strategies that unify brand positioning with cross‑channel plans.
- Translate brand foundations into actionable digital frameworks and content strategies.
- Design full‑funnel customer journeys that connect brand storytelling with measurable performance outcomes.
- Partner closely with Creative, Media, Digital, Social, and CRM teams to ensure cohesive, insight-driven work.
- Leverage audience insights, analytics, and cultural trends to inform strategic recommendations.
- Oversee consistent brand expression across all touchpoints.
- Establish KPIs and measurement plans that balance brand health and digital effectiveness.
- Serve as a senior strategic advisor to clients and present clear, compelling integrated strategies.
- Lead strategy talent while elevating the agency's integrated strategy product.
- 15+ years of experience in integrated strategy, brand strategy, or marketing strategy within an advertising agency environment.
- Must have a variety of big brand experience to include automotive.
- Expertise in brand development, digital strategy, communications planning, and full‑funnel marketing.
- Ability to integrate digital performance with overarching brand strategy.
- Strong storyteller with exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Mastery of audience insights with proven ability to design, commission, analyze both qualitative and quantitative research.
- Team player and connector: able to mobilize and motivate cross‑functional teams to work together effectively.
- Understanding of digital platform capabilities while staying ahead of emerging technologies and digital trends.
- Ability to author, lead and orchestrate integrated GTM plans.
- Experience managing and developing high‑performing strategy teams.

The salary range for this role is $240,000–$260,000. Pay is dependent upon several factors including but not limited to client, experience, training and/or transferable skills.
