. We’re seeking a skilled CNC Mill Machinist to join a team recognized for its precision, innovation, and excellence in the aerospace wind tunnel model industry. In this role, you’ll work on cutting-edge projects that advance aerospace technologies, machining complex contoured components with the highest standards of accuracy and craftsmanship.
- Set up and operate CNC mills to produce high-precision, tight-tolerance parts for aerospace applications.
- Program CNC mills to optimize tool paths and machining strategies for complex contoured geometries.
- Select and apply the appropriate tools, feeds, and speeds for aerospace-grade materials such as aluminum and titanium.
- Inspect and verify machined parts using precision measuring instruments to ensure adherence to strict quality standards.
- Interpret and work from detailed blueprints and engineering drawings, including GD&T specifications.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a CNC Mill Machinist in precision prototype or aerospace manufacturing.
- Proficiency in CNC mill setup, operation, and programming for high-accuracy machining.
- Strong knowledge of tool selection, feeds, speeds, and machining best practices for specialized materials.
- Experienced in precision inspection and verification processes.
- Skilled in reading and applying engineering drawings and GD&T specifications.
- U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency required (per U.S. Export/ITAR regulations).
- Active DOD clearance required.
- Competitive pay range: $23.00–$40.00 per hour
