They are seeking a Computer Numerical Control Programmer to join the team in Huntington Beach, CA, working full-time and on-site.
Computer Numerical Control Programmer– Key Responsibilities
- Program, set up, and operate 3-axis and 5-axis CNC milling machines
- Inspect printed and machined molds, tooling, and finished composite parts
- Produce tolerance and inspection reports
- Provide DFM feedback to engineers to improve processes and identify cost-down opportunities
- Identify, communicate, and resolve machining or process issues to prevent recurrence
- 5+ years’ experience as a CNC programmer using CAM software such as Tebis , Mastercam, Hyper Mill, NX, ESPRIT, or similar, including some 5-axis simultaneous machining
- 5+ years’ experience as a CNC machine setup/operator
- Experience programming and operating 5-axis gantry machines
- Ability to read and interpret manufacturing drawings, with a strong understanding of GD&T
- Experience performing in-process and post-process inspection using calipers, micrometers, scales, and similar tools
- Comfortable learning new methods and technologies and incorporating them into workflows
- Experience with CAM software such as Tebis, ESPRIT, Hyper Mill, or similar
- Experience in tooling or mold making for aerospace and/or motor sport
- Experience using CMM or surface scanning inspection equipment
- Experience across both R&D / development and production environments
- Experience programming and running 3D printers, particularly large-format systems
- CAD experience using Siemens NX, Solid Works, or CATIA
