Corporate VP of Accounting & Finance

Job Description

Hospitality Spotlight is looking for a Corporate VP of Accounting & Finance for a client in Southern California.

• Manage financial and accounting operations and planning for multiple hotel properties at a corporate level
• Guarantee robust tax planning, compliance, and reporting, while overseeing and providing guidance on risk management.
• Lead and manage the corporate team
• Model culture of integrity, respect, humility, and compliance
• Establish and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures across all properties and business entities.
• Drive budgeting and forecasting, actively engaging in acquisition activities
• Lead financial audits and manage all financial transactions for properties and business entities
• Access, establish and maintain appropriate operational accounting practices within all properties and business entities
• Provide daily, weekly and monthly reporting
  
  Build and maintain strong working relationship
• Additional duties as required

• Experience overseeing financial and accounting operations and planning for multiple hotel properties or multi-unit retail operations at a corporate level
• Experience with SaaS accounting, business intelligence and hospitality software
• Luxury hotel experience
• Bachelor's degree
• A track record of successful leadership
• Developed interpersonal, adaptive influencing and supervisory management skills

• Yearly salary base range of $170k - $215k
