Attorney​/Lawyer

Description

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Attorney with expertise in entertainment and/or intellectual property law to join our team on a long-term contract basis. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work with entertainment clients, including those in the music and film industries, and handle a variety of litigation and transactional matters. The role is fully remote, providing flexibility while requiring a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

- Manage litigation cases involving intellectual property, copyright, trademark, and contract disputes.

- Draft and negotiate contracts for entertainment and business clients, ensuring legal compliance and clarity.

- Prepare and file motions, briefs, and discovery documents in support of litigation matters.

- Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies and client needs.

- Address breaches of contract and intellectual property violations with a focus on resolution and enforcement.

- Collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives and provide creative legal solutions.

Requirements

- Active license to practice law in the United States.

- Proven experience in civil litigation, particularly in intellectual property and contract law.

- Strong skills in drafting motions, briefs, and discovery documents.

- Expertise in contract modifications and negotiations.

- Ability to work independently and remotely while maintaining consistent communication.
