IT Application Engineer

· Adapting the application to new requirements, as necessary;
· Consulting manuals, periodicals, and technical reports to learn new ways to develop applications and maintain existing skills and knowledge;
· Other duties as needed or required.
· Fulfill the duties of other staffing as needed to meet business needs
· Optional Software Application Experience a Plus:  Infor XA, Go Anywhere, EDI X12 and EDIFACT
· Excellent skills with Microsoft Office programs including Office
365, Excel, Access, Word, Project and PowerPoint.

* · Proficient with common Information Technologies nomenclature
* · Demonstrate crisis management capabilities, work well in ambiguous situations and adjust readily to multiple demands, shifting priorities, and rapid change.

* · Collaborate across other technology and infrastructure teams to provide seamless solutions.* ·
* Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information systems, business administration or related field, or equivalent work experience preferred.
* IT Related Certifications preferred.

- · 6+ years of Development Experience and Application Architecture
- · Excellent knowledge and execution of Software Development Methodologies and Development Project reporting.

- · Self-starter and possess excellent organizational skills
- · Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts and technologies to business leaders, and business concepts to the Infrastructure workforce.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
