** is seeking local candidates for a Freelance Data Engineer position to join our growing data and analytics team.

You will develop and maintain efficient data pipelines, contribute to our analytics ecosystem, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to turn raw data into actionable insights.
** ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES*
* • Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines using SQL, Python, and Spark to support marketing analytics and business intelligence.
• Collaborate with analysts and data scientists to integrate data into Tableau dashboards and data models that influence media strategies.
• Ensure high data quality, readability, and reliability through validation, documentation, and monitoring.
• Optimize data workflows and transformations in Databricks and other cloud platforms to improve performance and cost efficiency.
• Maintain clear, detailed documentation for data models, pipeline architecture, and metadata.
• Partner with internal stakeholders in an Agile team environment to iterate quickly and deliver impactful solutions.
** QUALIFICATIONS*
* • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python for data manipulation and automation.
• Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines in a modern data stack (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake, Airflow, dbt).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Understanding of data modeling principles (e.g., star schema, medallion architecture) and foundation in database design, data structures, and algorithms.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholder groups.
** PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS*
* • Experience working in a media, marketing, or advertising analytics environment.
• Exposure to Delta Lake, Apache Spark, or distributed computing frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with dashboarding or BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
• Familiarity with data governance, version control (Git), and Agile development practices.

** Salary range**: $90,000 to $110,000

Pay is dependent upon several factors including but not limited to: years of experience, client, training, and transferable skills.
