What does the role entail?The Assistant Executive Housekeeper is responsible for assisting in the oversight of the entire housekeeping area, including public areas and night cleaning. This requires a solid understanding of housekeeping and laundry supplies, pars, and ensuring all safety and security policies and procedures are followed. Experience with turndown service and the special needs of VIP guests and foreign dignitaries is helpful. Responsibilities may include staff training, development and scheduling.
The Assistant Executive Housekeeper will promote an atmosphere that ensures customer and associate satisfaction. This position reports directly to the Executive Housekeeper and requires strong attention to detail and the ability to effectively interact with guests, other departments and team members.

- 2-3 years of progressive hotel Rooms Management experience
- Service oriented style with professional presentation skills
- Hotel/Hospitality degree an asset
- Strong strengths: high energy, entrepreneurial spirit, motivational leader, effective communicator, and ability to improve the bottom line
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal and administrative skills
- Proficient in general computer knowledge, including working knowledge of Opera & Reserve
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Detail oriented and organized; proven leadership skills
- The responsibilities include assisting in overseeing any area in the Housekeeping Department
- Duties may include training, staff development and scheduling
- Must have physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish preferred
