The Site Supervisor is responsible for supervising the clinical and administrative functions of the assigned site. This requires working knowledge of the duties of their staff to fill in if needed. Staff positions include medical receptionists and medical assistants. The Site Supervisor must train and manage staff, keep inventory of and order clinical and office supplies, identify improvements to operational processes, and complete other duties as assigned.
Ability to address situations as they arise, to schedule and prioritize workloads, and to enforce company policies and procedures is required. The Site Supervisor is a representative of the institute and must maintain the professionalism, maturity, and positive attitude necessary to facilitate a high performing and effective team.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Schedules staff to meet business demands based on their availability.
- Conducts daily meetings with staff to review and address clinical protocols, address concerns, and spearhead problem resolution.
- Delegates tasks, reassigning staff as needed.
- Monitors attendance, approves timecards, and manages time off requests.
- Participates in the hiring, orientation, training, professional development, and performance management processes.
- Maintains medical supplies by conducting inventory, ordering/receiving/distributing supplies accordingly or directing these activities.
- Inspects medical equipment, ensuring they are in good working order and coordinates repair/replacement as needed.
- Maintains adequate stock of supplies and functioning equipment in examination rooms, inspecting for cleanliness.
- Ensure compliance with all company and government regulations (OSHA, HIPAA, etc.)
- Represent the institute, its mission and principles when working with clients, social service organizations, health agencies, and the larger community.
- Assists clinical staff and providers as needed.
- Participates in meetings with Practice Administrator and management, providing updates as they arise.
- Proficiency in Next Gen, Health iPass, Joints, etc.
- Completes other tasks and duties as assigned.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/experience.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- 2-3 years of relevant healthcare experience preferred.
- 1 year of leadership experience required.
- 1 year of medical assisting or clinical experience preferred.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervision of staff of the assigned clinic.

Position requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination. Involves standing and walking. Employee will occasionally be asked to lift and carry items weighing up to 30 pounds. Normal visual acuity and hearing are required.
