Compensation Range: $17 per hour - $22 per hour
Compensation will depend on geographic region, education, and experience.

Job Description
Anew Era TMS & Psychiatric multi-clinic practice is seeking a qualified candidate for our Huntington Beach office. The ideal Medical Receptionist should have excellent communication skills for effective interaction over the phone and in person, along with organization and time management skills to handle various tasks. Must have excellent interpersonal skills to positively interact with potentially upset or stressed patients. We are looking for a positive individual to join our team of staff and providers.
- Greeting patients professionally in person and on the phone.
- Answering patient calls and voicemails promptly and courteously.
- Confirming follow-up appointments and sending virtual appointment reminders as needed.
- Optimizing provider schedules and patient satisfaction through efficient scheduling.
- Comforting patients by addressing anxieties and answering questions effectively.
- Notifying providers of patient arrivals.
- Updating patient records and following all protocols regarding insurance verification.
- Collecting copays and scheduling follow-up appointments.
- Maintaining office inventory and equipment by anticipating supply needs.
- Occasionally verifying insurances.
- Mental health experience is a plus.

Qualifications
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Behavioral or psychiatric office experience preferred.
- Experience with Office Ally, Next Gen, or other electronic medical records systems preferred.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organization and time management skills.
- Detail-oriented and highly dependable.
- Team player who works well with others.
