They are at‑will employees, have no entitlement rights to any position in the District, and are not eligible for benefits. They may not exceed 19.5 working hours per week during the fall and spring semesters and a maximum of 28 hours outside those semesters. They are prohibited from being employed by the District in any other capacity during the same fiscal year (July 1 – June 30).

Student Assistant II – Intermediate / Advanced

Moderately independent judgment, analysis, and decision‑making are required. A minimum of one year of experience in a similar assignment is needed.

Student Assistant III – Specialist / Lead

Work is under general supervision with independent judgment. Tasks are complex and require broad skills. The employee may direct the work of lower‑level student assistants. A minimum of two years of experience in a similar assignment is required.
