Goods In Coordinator

Our well-established and highly regarded client based near St. Ives, Cambridgeshire is looking for an experienced Goods In Coordinator to join their warehouse team on a permanent, full-time basis. Working Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm (42.5 hour week).

This is a hands-on and varied role, ideal for someone with strong warehouse experience who enjoys leading by example, supporting team performance, and ensuring goods-in operations run safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities for the Goods In Coordinator role:

• Oversee day-to-day operations within the Goods In department
• Monitor and manage stock movements and replenishment to support production
• Delegate tasks and provide absence cover across warehouse operations
• Train and support new team members
• Ensure Health & Safety compliance across logistics and yard areas
• Keep warehouse and yard areas clear of hazards; report accidents or issues immediately
• Support warehouse compliance and assist the warehouse management team
• Oversee forklift fleet maintenance and conduct weekly vehicle checks
• Unload vehicles and containers safely and efficiently
• Complete and manage stock documentation and paperwork
• Support wider warehouse and logistics activities as required

To be Considered for the Goods In Coordinator role you will have:

• Hold a current Counterbalance Forklift licence
• Previous team leader or supervisory experience is desirable
• A strong team player with excellent communication skills
• Organised, proactive, and keen to learn and develop further
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Own transport is essential due to site location
