What You’ll Be DoingIn this varied and hands‑on role, your work will include installations, testing, and condition reports across a wide range of environments, such as:
- Factories and industrial sites
- Homes and residential projects
- Building sites and large commercial venues
- Temporary power installs for events & large‑scale setups
No two days will be the same. From managing large commercial installations to resolving electrical issues in domestic settings, you’ll play a vital role in delivering the high standard of service our clients rely on.
What You BringEssential
Qualifications:
- AM2S
- 18th Edition
Desirable (but not required):
- BS2391
- IPAF
- BS7909
- Confident working with 3‑phase systems, motors, control panels, heating systems, and fault‑finding
- Ability to work independently and to a high standard
- Pride in the quality of your work
- A commitment to ensuring clients receive the best possible experience and installation
- Flexible, Field‑Based Role:
Primarily covering the Cambridgeshire area, with opportunities to travel for exciting projects further afield. - Progression & Training:

- Tools and tester equipment provided
- Company Van and Fuel Card
- Competitive Salary: £35,000–£50,000 depending on experience, qualifications, and work ethic

Increasing with length of service - Birthday off as a Paid Holiday
- Up‑to‑date DBS certificate
- Full UK driving licence
- Willingness to travel, including occasional multi‑day stays
- Right to work in the UK
- Ideally, own hand tools (power tools can be provided)
