Salary: £19,019 per annum

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 14:00 to 19:30

Role Overview
  • Provide supervision of the cleaning team, ensuring a culture of high employee engagement and participation aligned with overall EUK objectives.
  • Support Line Manager in compliance with EUK policies and procedures, including recruitment, staff rotas, performance, absence, training, appraisals and payroll.
  • Conduct regular staff meetings with all direct reports to ensure open two‑way feedback on service delivery, resources, health and safety, and more.
  • Monitor appointed subcontractors’ performance while on site.
  • Manage stock control effectively.
  • Integrate within client activities and attend client/customer meetings when required.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and colleagues using a partnership approach.
  • Collect data for monthly KPI/SLA reports as required.
  • Participate in audit programmes and inspections.
  • Develop cleaning innovation ideas to enhance and adapt the working environment.
  • Ensure delivery and maintenance of procedures and systems necessary for comprehensive service delivery for cleaning and associated services on our sites.
  • Plan, prepare and complete works within contract scope.
  • Report any service shortfalls to Line Manager.
  • Monitor and record the servicing and maintenance of all cleaning machinery and equipment.
  • Provide a timely response to work requests received.
  • Proactively report on work activity.
  • Support team resource management to ensure holiday and sickness cover, guaranteeing service delivery at all times.
  • Maintain staff training records and deliver Health and Safety Toolbox Talks.
  • Record and update COSHH materials regularly.
  • Ensure all staff follow agreed risk assessments and method statements for cleaning tasks.
  • Ensure all staff have appropriate PPE and conduct regular audit checks.
  • Maintain governance so that all employees work safely, complying with statutory regulations and EMCOR policy.

  • Able to work with minimal management and be self‑motivated.
  • IT literate.
  • Good written and spoken English communication skills to ensure staff safety.
  • Positive leadership approach.
  • Flexible to meet service requirements.
