Private Client Solicitor

Huntingdon (office-based with potential for some flexibility)

An established legal practice in Huntingdon is seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor (4+ years’ post-qualification experience) to join its growing private client team. This role offers the opportunity to manage a high-quality caseload, build trusted client relationships, and contribute to the continued development of the department.

• Managing a broad private client caseload with minimal supervision
• Advising clients on a range of private client matters including:
• Wills and estate planning
• Probate and estate administration
• Trusts
• Powers of Attorney
• Inheritance Tax planning
• Providing clear, pragmatic, and client-focused advice
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships, including high-net-worth individuals
• Participating in business development and networking activities within the Huntingdon area
• Supervising or mentoring junior colleagues where appropriate
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulatory and professional standards

• Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales
• Minimum of 4 years’ PQE in private client work
• Strong technical knowledge across core private client matters
• Ability to manage files independently from instruction to completion
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A proactive and professional approach to client care
• STEP qualification (or working towards) desirable but not essential
