Senior Finance Business Partner

About The Role

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Finance Business Partner to lead the AMF business finance function. This is an exciting opportunity to manage the finances for a leading supplier of fresh produce to UK supermarkets, driving both financial performance and operational insight.

In this role, you will line‑manage the AMF Commercial Finance & FP&A team (3 direct reports), partnering closely with the Commercial and Procurement Directors to support revenue growth, profitability, and strategic decision‑making across the business. You will play a pivotal role in delivering accurate and insightful financial reporting, analysing commercial performance, and supporting long‑term tender negotiations with key customers.

• Manage and develop the AMF Commercial Finance & FP&A team, providing coaching and guidance to direct reports.
• Partner with Commercial and Procurement Directors to provide financial insight and influence business decisions that drive growth and profitability.
• Own the financial reporting for the AMF business, including month‑end reporting, overhead control, analysis, annual budgeting, and bi‑monthly reforecasting.
• Provide clear, accurate, and actionable financial information to senior stakeholders, interpreting complex data for non‑financial managers.
• Collaborate closely with Operations Finance, Senior FBPs, and Group Finance teams to implement best practice, enhance processes, and support end‑to‑end decision making.
• Lead finance transformation initiatives, driving process improvement and optimising ERP systems (Microsoft D365) and related tools.
• Support customer relationships, including tender negotiations and long‑term commercial strategy.
