I am delighted to be working with The Papworth Trust a charity committed to driving social change and championing disability awareness, they are seeking a Director of Finance to join their Executive Team based in Cambridgeshire. This is a fantastic opportunity to shape strategic direction, ensure financial sustainability, and lead transformation within a dynamic organisation.

The Role As Director of Finance, you will:

• Lead the Finance function and deliver long-term financial strategies.
• Provide expert financial guidance to the Chief Executive, Board, and senior leaders.
• Drive efficiencies, compliance, and a high-performance culture.
• Ensure robust financial governance and value for money across all operations.

About You

• Qualified Accountant ACA,ACCA, CIMA or equivalent with substantial experience in strategic finance leadership.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to thrive in a complex, changing environment.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Commitment to equality, diversity, and disability awareness.
• Charity or housing sector experience is desirable.
