Management Accountant

The ONE Group are excited to be supporting a long-standing Huntingdon business as they look to welcome a Management Accountant into their team. This is a role for someone who enjoys getting under the skin of the numbers and someone who wants to understand what's really happening in the business and use that insight to influence decisions. From month-end reporting to guiding managers through budgets and forecasts, your work will help shape both day-to-day operations and longer-term plans.

You'll have the space to bring ideas, challenge ways of working, and contribute to ongoing improvements across systems and processes.

• Taking ownership of the monthly management accounts and explaining the story behind the numbers
• Leading the budgeting and forecasting cycles with confidence and clarity
• Digging into costs and margins to support commercial decision‑making
• Tracking performance through KPIs and sharing emerging trends
• Working closely with operational teams to help drive efficiency and improvement
• Ensuring strong financial controls, including Balance Sheet reconciliations
• Supporting inventory valuation and playing a role in managing working capital
• Getting involved in year‑end activity and statutory reporting
• Helping refine processes and enhance reporting tools
• Stepping in with insightful ad‑hoc analysis whenever needed

You’ll be a qualified or QBE accountant with strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the confidence to work with and challenge both finance and non‑finance teams when needed.

This is a full‑time onsite position, 8am‑5pm, based in modern offices within a business that continues to invest in its people and its growth. Salary is up to £65,000 DOE.
