As part of our continued growth, we are looking to appoint a Service Engineer to support installations, commissioning, and aftersales service activities across the UK.
This position suits a technically capable individual who takes pride in delivering high standards of workmanship and building strong customer relationships. You will represent the company on-site, ensuring equipment is installed, maintained, and supported to the highest professional standard.
Responsibilities- Installation, commissioning, and servicing of packaging and automation equipment
- Fault finding and diagnostics across electrical and pneumatic systems
- Reading and interpreting electrical schematics and control panel layouts
- Supporting customers with technical troubleshooting both remotely and on-site
- Ensuring compliance with industry and safety standards
- Delivering a professional and customer-focused service experience
- Experience working with packaging machinery, automated handling systems, or conveyor equipment
- Confidence working from electrical drawings and control cabinet schematics
- Working knowledge of sensors, pneumatics, and automation components
- Strong practical ability with a hands‑on engineering mindset
- A structured and organised approach to tasks
- The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team
- A proactive, solutions-oriented attitude
- Strong communication skills and a professional manner
- Good written and spoken English
