You will work closely with a diverse team to optimise ventilation demand and supply to support efficient gold extraction and maximise business value for our Underground Mining Team at St Ives Gold Mine.

- Drive ventilation planning across LOM, quarterly, weekly and monthly horizons to support production, safety and long-term mine strategy, ensuring all statutory requirements and records are accurately maintained.
- Lead clear ventilation coordination and communication by defining constraints, issuing instructions, and providing direction to mining teams, underground personnel, contractors and graduates.
- Support continuous improvement and project delivery through involvement in ventilation projects, capital infrastructure planning, and monitoring of ventilation system performance.
- Tertiary qualifications in Mining Engineering, or a related discipline plus
- A manual driver’s licence.
- Demonstrated experience within Underground Engineering with exposure to longhole drilling, blasting, ventilation, projects, planning and scheduling – preferably gold.
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite, and mining software such as Deswik CAD with experience with Ventsim would be highly regarded.
