Yoga Instructor

Overview

LIVunLtd is currently seeking experienced, energetic and exceptional Yoga Instructors to join our growing team at Huntersville Family Fitness & Aquatics. This will be an evening position.

As a Group Fitness Instructor you are experienced, positive, and patient. Instructors are expected to educate, motivate, and make yoga a fun experience while they teach. Whether it be on a weekly or daily basis, instructors are expected to provide an encouraging voice and energetic personality when leading exercise activities.

• Create an educational, safe, and inviting experience for all participants.
• Develop class plans that focus on relaxation, flexibility, and mindful breathing.
• Provide modifications and adjustments to meet the needs of individual participants.
• Cultivate a serene and stress-free atmosphere conducive to winding down.
• Ensure instructional equipment remains in good condition; have all equipment ready prior to classes and put away after.
• Guarantee safety at all times and provide first aid when necessary.
• Perform any and all cleaning duties as assigned to help establish and maintain showroom quality at all times.
• Enforce all company policies procedures in efforts to maintain a quiet, safe and secure environment for members.
• Adhere and adapt to all current and new LIVunLtd policies, procedures and initiatives.
• Report any unsafe conditions or situations that require attention to the Fitness + Wellness Director.
• Wear building-approved uniform for each specific location where you are working.

• Yoga teaching certification (RYT 200 or equivalent required).
• Prior experience teaching yoga in a group setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adjust class intensity based on participant needs.
• Passion for promoting health, relaxation, and mindfulness.
• Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be organized and customer service oriented.

The Yoga Instructor position with LIVunLtd pays minimum wage aligned with state regulations for corporate education and development initiatives. This position pays a minimum of $25 per fitness group fitness class.
