A modern, fast-growing small animal practice is seeking a skilled Urgent Care Veterinarian to join its dedicated medical team. This role is ideal for a veterinarian who enjoys managing urgent but non-emergency cases and is passionate about providing high-quality, compassionate care in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide prompt medical attention to patients with urgent health needs
- Diagnose and treat common acute conditions and minor injuries in canine and feline patients
- Communicate effectively and empathetically with clients regarding treatment options and patient care
- Collaborate with a highly trained support team to ensure efficient and thorough case management
- Maintain detailed and accurate medical records while upholding the highest standards of care
- DVM or VMD degree from an accredited institution (or equivalent international qualification)
- Active or eligible veterinary license in the relevant state
- Strong clinical decision-making and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
