Administrative - Industry: Hospitals and Health Care
Provide primary health care and perform selective medical services under the direction of practice physicians. Work in a remarkable team where quality care meets quality service in every dimension.
What You’ll Do- Assist in surgery and care patients in the clinic and operating room.
- Perform general surgery procedures such as laceration repair, incision and drainage, punch biopsies, and removal of superficial skin lesions.
- Conduct clinic and bedside general surgery procedures, obtain surgical history, perform physical examinations, and write progress notes and discharge summaries.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and care team in a fast‑paced setting.
- Participate in call rotation and complete department‑specific skills validation and competency testing.
- Promote a safe patient environment and foster teamwork and community involvement.
- Education: Graduate Degree, required. Masters of Physician Assistant Studies, Masters of Nurse Practitioner, or similar accredited program (e.g., NCCPA and ARC-PA).
- Experience: One year in general or surgical subspecialty, emergency/inpatient medicine, or comparable experience preferred; 3 to 5 years preferred.
- Licensure/Certification: Current PA or NP license in the state, state medical board registry, current DEA registry, ACLS (not required for the in‑office only NP/PA), and BLS, all required.

Skills:
Ability to perform clinic and bedside procedures, comfortable working in OR, clinic, and surgical wards, skilled in surgical history, physical exams, documentation, strong verbal and written communication, computer knowledge, independent and collaborative work, problem‑solving, decision‑making, creative thinking, and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced clinical environment. Participation in call rotation required.
