General Manager

Position Title: General Manager Roof Scientist

Reports to: Brand President

Direct Reports: Salesperson, Operations Manager

Compensation: Salary: $70,000-$80,000 plus variable compensation, opportunity for equity, full benefits, and use of company vehicle

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of roofing experience (both residential and commercial)
• Proven leadership experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the operations and sales team with accountability for performance
• Responsible for hiring and firing decisions
• Demonstrate independent leadership
• Read and understand profit and loss statements
• Understand job, labor, and product costing
• Create, follow, and reconcile monthly budgets

• Track activities, progress, adjustments, wins/losses, and learnings
• React intuitively to issues, determine courses of action, and deliver appropriate outcomes
• Utilize CRM for all activities
• Understand the sales and production cycle
• Train other team members
• Conduct sales estimate visits, price effectively based on established guidelines and CRM procedures, and convert leads into sales
• Actively network within the community to drive referral opportunities
• Represent the business as its face in the community
