We are seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist for an immediate contract-to-hire opportunity supporting a multi-state workforce of approximately 1,000 employees. This role will have you owning end-to-end payroll processing across multiple states and pay groups in a fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Do
- Manage weekly and biweekly payroll schedules
- Ensure accurate multi-state payroll processing, tax compliance, and timely payroll delivery
- Handle payroll-related inquiries, discrepancies, and adjustments with urgency and accuracy
- Partner with HRIS and HR teams to ensure data integrity and smooth payroll operations
- Leverage advanced Excel skills for audits, reconciliations, reporting, and analysis
What We’re Looking For
- ADP Workforce Now experience is required
- Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel proficiency
- Ability to work independently as the sole payroll processor in a time-sensitive environment
- Availability to start immediately
