Senior Payroll Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist for an immediate contract-to-hire opportunity supporting a multi-state workforce of approximately 1,000 employees. This role will have you owning end-to-end payroll processing across multiple states and pay groups in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Do

• Manage weekly and biweekly payroll schedules
• Ensure accurate multi-state payroll processing, tax compliance, and timely payroll delivery
• Handle payroll-related inquiries, discrepancies, and adjustments with urgency and accuracy
• Partner with HRIS and HR teams to ensure data integrity and smooth payroll operations
• Leverage advanced Excel skills for audits, reconciliations, reporting, and analysis

What We’re Looking For

• ADP Workforce Now experience is required
• Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel proficiency
• Ability to work independently as the sole payroll processor in a time-sensitive environment
• Availability to start immediately
