Overview
Atrium Health University City is seeking a full-time Environmental Services Technician. This position promotes environmental protection by maintaining healthy and safe medical facilities for employees and visitors.

Schedule Details/Additional Information: Variable - every other weekend.
Pay Range: $18.85 - $28.30/hour
ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for the following functions:
- Dusting and sanitizing furniture, equipment, mirrors and fixtures
- Washing windows, walls, ceilings, vents and light fixtures
- Sweeping, scrubbing and refinishing floors
- Vacuuming and shampooing carpet
- Restocking restrooms
- Replacing light bulbs
- Reporting repairs
- Collecting and transporting soiled linen
- Emptying trash containers
- Changing sharps containers
- Transporting solid and hazardous waste to compactors
- Recycling material
- Emptying cigarette receptacles in smoking areas
Work Environment: Performs repetitive work according to set procedures; stress fully fast-paced; works in contaminated, isolation, construction and renovation areas; occasionally works in extreme temperatures and around unpleasant smells; exposure to individuals with various degrees of mental, physical conditions and illnesses.

One year experience - Ability to prioritize assignments to complete work in a timely manner
- Ability to operate equipment
- Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with co-workers
