ABS Kids is looking for a Business Development Manager to join our team in North Carolina! The Business Development Manager will conduct in person relationship building visits at Pediatrician clinics and schedule in-service lunch meetings with the help of the local clinicians in the market. The market is area ranges near Charlotte to Greensboro and/or Raleigh. Day to day will be traveling around the market and working remote.
The Business Development Manager will be highly engaged with the local Autism Community building relationships and designing and implementing sponsorship opportunities and partnerships with these organizations.

- Monitor incoming referrals, determine referral status, and oversee the timely communication processes conducted by the referral relationship specialists.
- Provide larger referral partners with summary reports on referral in coordination with the Vice President of Business Development
- Collaborate with Vice President of Business Development to communicate challenges, opportunities, and develop strategic actions and communications with larger referral partners.
- Enhance local relationship building activity specifically in SC through direct marketing visits with pediatric clinics in cooperation with clinical leadership.
- Communicate urgent or priority referrals to the intake team based on relationship and business development strategies.
- Respond to incoming questions from referral sources.
- Set up and attend meetings with payors and case managers as appropriate.
- Adhere to federal HIPAA regulations, as well as any company policies & procedures.
- Enter and utilize company CRM to maintain accurate contact information.
- Become proficient in use of company patient information systems/reports regarding
- Minimum of 5 years of direct sales in healthcare or related field.
- Healthcare management experience with sales, recruiting, or customer service preferred.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations.
- Bachelor's or equivalent, preferably in a healthcare related field
- Ability to establish priorities and be flexible enough to adapt to change
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form
- Ability to communicate effectively -- orally, in writing, in person, and on the telephone -- with all categories of people within the company and potential affiliates
- Knowledge of spelling, grammar, punctuation, and English usage sufficient to write professional presentations
- Knowledge of ABA terminology is a plus
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word
- Ability to work independently and in an organized manner
- Ability to establish goals and demonstrated ability to complete projects by deadlines
