Electrical Project Engineer II (Industrial/Manufacturing)

We’re seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to support the planning, execution, and commissioning of industrial and manufacturing modernization projects. This role is hands-on and field-driven, working closely with plant teams, contractors, and engineering partners to deliver safe, reliable electrical systems across complex manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities
  • Support construction, installation, startup, and commissioning of major manufacturing equipment
  • Design, review, and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and power requirements
  • Work with low-, medium-, and high-voltage electrical distribution systems
  • Coordinate power distribution and equipment integration during plant build and expansion projects
  • Troubleshoot electrical and control system issues during installation and startup
  • Support PLC-based control systems (ladder logic), with exposure to Siemens and Rockwell platforms
  • Promote safety standards and best practices on all job sites
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, and contractors
Required Experience & Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
  • 3+ years of engineering experience in industrial or manufacturing environments
  • Hands-on experience with industrial power distribution systems
  • Strong ability to read and create 2D AutoCAD Electrical drawings
  • Experience supporting equipment installation, startup, and commissioning
  • Working knowledge of PLC systems and ladder logic
  • Proven troubleshooting skills in field-based environments
Preferred Experience
  • Siemens power distribution and/or PLC experience
  • QED Power or similar industrial power systems exposure
  • SCADA and electrical control systems experience
  • Relay protection and power system design exposure
  • Cost estimating and project support experience
  • Background in wire & cable or heavy manufacturing
