Overview

The Direct Sales Agent Specialist supports profitable growth by driving new business sales, understanding customer needs, and building rapport and trust. The role sells to walk-in customers and through outside marketing calls and in-person visits to create community relationships, cross-sell existing customers, and grow the book of business.
Key Responsibilities- Drive new business sales and understand customer needs to build rapport and retain a book of business within the market/retail location.
- Attract and generate new customers and cross-sell to existing customers across product offerings (e.g., Auto, Life, Auto Club, Roadside Assistance).
- Sell to walk-in customers and market products outside the office via calls and in-person visits to promote growth.
- 0 – 2 years of experience.
- P&C licensing (Preferred) or must attain required licensure within 90 days of joining the company.
- Successfully closes sales of insurance and ancillary products.
- Meets and exceeds sales goals through new product sales and cross-sell/retention.
- Leverages community contacts and maintains an active presence to build referral networks.
- Initiates outbound calls to established target customers for product offerings.
- Monitors local market competitors and supports initiatives to improve market position.
- Collaborates with Direct Sales Leadership to plan and manage marketing and sales processes.
- Delivers results across quality, quantity, timeliness, productivity, customer satisfaction, and financial performance with adherence to policies and procedures.
- Understands and stays current on underwriting guidelines and company memos.
- Receives customer payments, issues receipts, and verifies cash drawer reports.
- Base compensation: $20.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
- Total compensation may include incentive pay (commissions and bonuses) based on individual and team performance.
