Are you ready to lead and inspire a team towards operational excellence?
Our client is seeking a dynamic individual to oversee and direct manufacturing operations across multiple shifts. This pivotal role involves managing production supervisors to ensure that safety, quality, and efficiency targets are consistently achieved.
- Lead and support production supervisors to maintain seamless operations across all shifts.
- Monitor daily production performance, implementing strategies to meet or exceed safety, quality, delivery, and cost goals.
- Develop and maintain production schedules to align with customer demand and optimize labor and equipment use.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with Maintenance, Quality, Supply Chain, and Engineering teams to resolve issues and enhance efficiency.
- Coach and mentor production supervisors to foster strong leadership and effective teams.
- Analyze production data and prepare reports for senior leadership to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
- Lead or participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including lean manufacturing and process optimization.
- Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and employee engagement across all shifts.
- Complete all necessary documentation accurately.
- Adhere to 5S standards and follow all Safety, Environmental, and Quality policies and procedures.
- Comprehensive knowledge of manufacturing concepts and principles.
- Ability to perform complex tasks following established processes.
- Experience in leading and directing teams with full authority for personnel decisions.
- Primarily focused on administering established policies and procedures, with some impact on departmental budgeting, strategic planning, and procedural change.
- Typically requires a bachelor's degree and at least 6 years of relevant experience.
