Overview
Position:
Firehouse Subs Team Member (Line Cook). The line positions are critical to the daily success of the restaurant. The line is the front line of our operation, and standards must be exceeded to ensure we execute on our mission of serving hearty and flavorful food.
REPORTS TO: General Manager/Assistant Manager/Shift Leader

ResponsibilitiesThe following responsibilities reflect the duties of the role and the expected level of performance:
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Accountable for the preparation of the guest’s order.
- Able to communicate effectively with guests and handle questions and concerns in a professional manner.
- Team player.
- Thank guests sincerely for their business.
- Participate in all Firehouse Subs® Public Safety Foundation fundraising initiatives.
- Maintain an organized, stocked, and sanitary work space.
- Able and willing to complete other restaurant functions such as cashier or cleaning, per management direction, or any other duties assigned by the general manager, assistant manager, or shift leader.
- Maintain a safe work environment, adhering to all established food and safety guidelines.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent menu and product knowledge.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills with guests and team members.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Willingness to contribute to all restaurant functions as directed by management.
- Commitment to sanitation, safety, and quality standards.

Compensation: $8.50 - $10.00 per hour
