Overview

General Summary Of Duties: We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join our practice and play a vital role in delivering high-quality vascular care to our patients. In this position, you will work closely with our Vascular Care Team and managing partners, gaining valuable hands-on experience in our ambulatory surgery center with a primary focus on PAD and GAE.

This full-time opportunity offers the chance to grow within a collaborative, patient-centered environment. All responsibilities must be carried out in a confidential, professional, and personable manner. The individual in this role should also be able to provide sole staff support for the office when needed.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality vascular care to patients in collaboration with the Vascular Care Team and managing partners.
  • Gain hands-on experience in an ambulatory surgery center with a focus on PAD and GAE.
  • Work in a full-time, collaborative, patient-centered environment; maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Provide sole staff support for the office when needed.
  • Demonstrate ability to multitask and lead effectively as appropriate.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an Advanced Practice Nursing program; non-restricted DEA for the state of Texas.
  • ACLS certification preferred.
  • 3-5 years of work experience; experience with vascular surgery is preferable.
  • Ability to read, write legibly, and speak English professionally; proficient computer and software skills; ability to troubleshoot and calibrate patient care equipment.
  • Strong communication in English (in person, written, and telephone); critical thinking; ability to work independently with minimal supervision; basic math; multitasking; ability to work under pressure; problem solving; attention to detail.
  • Willingness to perform other tasks as assigned.
  • Bilingual in Spanish a plus.
