Key Responsibilities- Sales Leadership & Performance
:
Lead, coach, and motivate the new car sales team to achieve and exceed volume, gross, and CSI goals; set clear expectations, track performance, and hold the team accountable to daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs. - Deal Structuring & Profitability
:
Structure and desk deals to maximize store profit while maintaining a world‑class customer experience; work closely with Finance to ensure smooth transitions, compliance, and profitability. - Customer Experience Oversight
:
Oversee sales transactions from greeting to delivery to ensure a seamless, professional, and customer‑centric experience; actively resolve escalated customer concerns and lead by example on the showroom floor. - Team Development & Culture
:
Recruit, train, and develop high‑performing sales professionals; foster a culture of accountability, energy, professionalism, and continuous improvement. - Strategic Planning
:
Develop and execute sales strategies to drive new car volume, market share, and profitability; analyze trends, inventory levels, and pricing strategies to stay competitive in the market. - Collaboration
:
Partner directly with the General Manager, Internet Director, Used Car leadership, and Marketing to align sales efforts with dealership goals; ensure inventory is effectively merchandised and positioned to support showroom and digital traffic.
- Previous Toyota dealership experience is REQUIRED (Toyota brand knowledge and processes are essential for success in this role).
- Proven experience in new car sales management within a high‑volume automotive dealership.
- Strong understanding of desking, inventory management, pricing strategies, and finance processes.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, train, and inspire a sales team to consistently perform at a high level.
- Results‑driven mindset with a strong command of performance metrics and accountability.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment while maintaining attention to detail and customer satisfaction.
- Experience working with CRM systems and dealership management tools.
