Job Description

All About Home Care is looking for a reliable and professional COTA who is skilled in providing therapy in patients’ homes. We pride ourselves on hiring professionals who understand the unique dynamics of Home Health care.

Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
  • Current Texas state license as a COTA
  • Two years of experience in Home Health preferred
  • Spanish-speaking preferred
Responsibilities
  • Adhere to established agency policies and procedures
  • Provide physician-prescribed occupational therapy services under a plan of care established by an Occupational Therapist (OT)
  • Help patients improve or maintain their ability to perform activities of daily living (ADLs)
  • Support patients in regaining independence and achieving their highest functional potential
  • Carry out skilled therapy procedures as ordered by the physician and directed by the OT
  • Collaborate with the OT and other healthcare personnel in patient care planning
  • Report changes in patient condition and progress to the supervising OT
  • Educate patients and family members/caregivers on home programs and ADL strategies
  • Participate in mandatory in-service and performance improvement activities as assigned
  • Attend patient care conferences as scheduled
  • Document timely and accurate visit notes, progress updates, and care plan revisions as per agency requirements
