Overview
Empower Behavioral Health (EBH) is a provider of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services. Our mission is to empower families by delivering effective ABA services so that learners with autism and other developmental disabilities can reach their full potential.
Role:
Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) work closely with our patients to provide compassionate and knowledgeable care within our intensive, individualized program.
- $17.25 per hour for those joining without certification, increase once certified
- Up to $25 per hour for experienced and certified RBTs, based on experience and tenure in the field
- Performance reviews every 6 months, with potential for compensation increases

- Provide 1:1 therapy in a clinic-based day program for children with autism and other developmental disabilities
- Implement individualized treatment plans created by a BCBA
- Track and record daily treatment via Central Reach
- Assist BCBA to implement behavior reduction and skill acquisition treatment plans
- Respond to feedback and maintain/improve performance accordingly
- Create a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for each patient
- Applicants must be at least 18 years of age
- Must have completed high school or equivalent
- Experience working with children ages 18 months–12 years preferred
- Willingness to be trained in ABA principles
- Must be able to move or transport up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to run or walk throughout 6-8 hour sessions (e.g., patient eloping)
- Must be able to respond quickly to manage behaviors (e.g., block aggression, move furniture)
- Must be able to be seated on the floor when needed for patient
- Must be able to transition from seated on the floor to standing quickly to respond to aggression/severe behavior
- Must be able to bend or twist to utilize physical management
- Must be able to maintain physical holds for aggressive patients for extended periods when needed
- Must have the ability to hear and discern sounds in the environment and respond promptly to patients’ needs
- Must have sufficient visual acuity to read and interact with an iPad Mini, including text, images, and video content
