We have an exciting opportunity for a Document Control Specialist to join the team with Bastion, a teammate company.
The Document Control Specialist will:
- Review existing processes used by Crew and Thermal Systems Division Systems Test Branch and identify opportunities for automation
- Maintain databases by entering new and updated project information
- Scan, print, and manage documents as needed
- Respond to requests for information and retrieve relevant files in a timely manner
- Responsible for complying with data integrity and security policies, printing and scanning files and generating reports as required
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive and proprietary information
- Perform other duties as required

- Requires a HS diploma or its equivalent
- Proficiency using computers and Microsoft Office Applications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and stay focused on assigned tasks
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Associates or Bachelor s degree
- Familiarity with Johnson Space Center (JSC) organizations, processes, and procedures
- Knowledge of eLabs, Service Now

- Proof of U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Residency may be a requirement for this position.

Generally, an office environment, but can involve inside or outside work depending on task.
Physical RequirementsWork may involve sitting or standing for extended periods (90% of time). May require lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs. (5% of time).
Equipment and MachinesStandard office equipment (PC, telephone, printer, etc.).
AttendanceRegular attendance in accordance with established work schedule is critical. Ability to work outside normal schedule and adjust schedule to meet peak periods and surge requirements.
