Location: Kingston upon Hull
FLT Driver / Warehouse Operative
Location:
HU7
Hours:
Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm
Pay Rate: £13.30 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
* Receive goods into the warehouse, ensuring accurate documentation and record‑keeping.
* Load and unload deliveries safely and efficiently using a counterbalance FLT.
* Maintain effective stock control, monitoring inventory levels and reporting discrepancies.
* Pick and prepare orders for dispatch in line with production schedules.
* Transport materials to production areas in a timely and organised manner.
* Maintain high standards of warehouse organisation, housekeeping, and cleanliness.
* Work closely with production teams to ensure materials are available when required.
* Adhere to all health & safety procedures and report any equipment faults or issues immediately.
Candidate Overview:
The successful candidate will be responsible for the receipt of goods, accurate paperwork processing, and safe loading and unloading of deliveries. You will manage stock control, prepare orders for dispatch, and transport materials efficiently to support production operations. The role requires strong attention to safety, teamwork, and maintaining an organised warehouse environment.
Requirements:
* Valid
** Counterbalance FLT licence** (essential).
* Previous experience in a warehouse or production environment preferred.
* Strong understanding of health & safety procedures.
* Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
