Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit experienced operatives to join our team.
Role OverviewWe are currently seeking experienced 360 Operators / Ground workers with a minimum of 5 years’ experience to work on a range of groundworks projects nationwide. Candidates must be confident operating machinery and supporting general groundworks activities, with flexibility to work away from home when required.
Key Responsibilities- Safe and efficient operation of 360° excavators (above and/or below 10 tonnes)
- Excavation, trenching, foundations, and grading works
- Setting out in relation to the design requirements
- Installation of drainage systems, services, and landscaping works
- Managing general civils activities when not operating machinery
- Carrying out daily machine checks and basic maintenance
- Working closely with site supervisors and other trades
- Adhering to all health & safety regulations and site procedures
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and productive working environment
- Minimum 5 years’ proven experience operating 360° excavators
- Valid CPCS or NPORS 360 Excavator ticket (additional dumper ticket is advantageous)
- Strong experience in drainage, services installation, and landscaping works
- Solid background in general groundworks
- Full Driving Licence
- Ability to pass for an Enhanced DBS certificate
- Ability to work independently and to a high standard
- Good knowledge of health & safety practices
- CSCS card (preferred)
- Willingness to work away from home
