INTERNAL SALES / CUSTOMER SERVICE SUPPORT / SALES SUPPORT
Hull – Sutton Fields Industrial Estate, HU7 0YQ
Full Time | Monday–Thursday 8:30–5:00 | Friday 8:30–3:30
We are looking for an organised and customer-focused Internal Sales / Customer Support professional to join the team at the UK head office in Hull.
With the headquarters in Germany, a factory in Belgium and offices all over Europe; UK France, Spain and Italy you’d be working for a Japanese Company with a focus on positive employee engagement and core values of trust and integrity.
This role is ideal for someone with experience in sales administration, internal sales or customer service who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and supporting both customers and internal teams.
You will play a key role in processing customer orders, handling enquiries and ensuring customers receive excellent service from order through to delivery.
THE ROLE
Your responsibilities will include:
* Processing customer orders and quotations.
* Communicating with OEM customers, distributors and end users.
* Liaising with production and engineering teams to ensure orders are delivered on time.
* Progressing sales orders and purchase orders.
* Handling customer enquiries and answering calls professionally.
* Managing warranty claims and product returns.
* Monitoring stock and supporting inventory control.
* Completing internal sales documentation accurately.
* Ensuring procedures and quality standards are followed.
This is a varied role where you will work closely with sales, production and engineering teams, helping to ensure orders are delivered efficiently and customers receive a high level of service.
ABOUT YOU
We are looking for someone who has:
* Experience in internal sales, sales administration or customer service.
* Strong organisational and communication skills.
* A professional and customer-focused approach
* Good IT skills including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Teams)
* The ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
DESIRABLE (but not essential)
* Experience working in engineering, manufacturing or technical environments.
* An interest in Power transmission / Mechanical products.
* Knowledge of ISO quality systems.
* Experience working with suppliers or production teams.
WHAT’S ON OFFER
* Full time, permanent position
* Basic Salary: £30k- £35k per annum
* 8% Discretionary bonus (performance based)
* Pension contribution (company will pay 6%)
* 36 hours per week with an early finish on Fridays
* 28 Day holiday per year.
