Veterinary Surgeon – Small Animal Hull | Up to £70,000 FTE DOE | No OOHs

Due to continued growth, an exciting opportunity has become available for a Veterinary Surgeon to join the award-winning team in Hull. This well-established practice is known for its strong team culture, high clinical standards and genuinely supportive working environment.

The successful candidate will join a stable team of six experienced Veterinary Surgeons who work collaboratively and provide excellent peer support. The practice places great importance on maintaining a positive and enjoyable workplace, believing that a happy team delivers the best possible care. Team members describe the environment as welcoming, friendly and full of laughter, even during the challenges of day-to-day veterinary life.

The purpose-built practice is equipped to industry-leading standards, including digital X‑ray and comprehensive in‑house laboratory facilities. The caseload is varied and engaging, and there is no sole charge responsibility.

The role is ideally full‑time, although part‑time applications will be considered. The practice is seeking a confident, well‑rounded small animal Veterinary Surgeon, though less experienced candidates looking to develop their skills will be well supported. Certificates are actively encouraged and fully supported, allowing clinicians to pursue their individual areas of interest.

The position includes a 1:3 Saturday rota, with no Sunday working and no out‑of‑hours or on‑call duties, supporting a healthy work–life balance.

The role offers a competitive salary of up to £70,000 (full‑time equivalent, dependent on experience), alongside a generous CPD allowance with strong support for certificates and continued professional development.
