Asset Care Operator

Salary - £31,815

Location - Hull

Shift Pattern – Monday-Friday 5am-1pm

We are currently recruiting an Asset Care Operator who will be responsible for safely maintaining and improving production lines/departments and their associated machinery.

You will also be responsible for reducing critical equipment breakdowns, minimise loss of production time due to equipment failures, and decrease downtime and major repairs.

• Working towards Maths and English, Grade C or Level 4 or above
• Good analytical skills and enjoy problem solving with a logical and structured approach.
• Passion, drive and commitment to complete an apprenticeship with a genuine interest in Engineering, technology, technically competent.
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Good time management.

• Work to a PPM schedule and update necessary systems in line with the plan of work, including lubrication and various machine checks on Conveyors, cutters, depositors, and heating heads.
• Complete Basic GMP tasks, including strip curtains and fabrications.
• Rack repairs, basic welding tasks on frames and wheels.
• Support production Line set ups and pre and post builds.
• Maintain Glue tanks, including emptying, cleaning, and refilling.
• Basic breakdowns (non-electrical), including depositors, cutters, and conveyors.
• Ensure the workplace is safe and tidy and follows strict Environmental, Health & Safety and Food Safety Standards.
• Support Engineering team in breakdown and repairs.
• Complete and update Engineering software and support systems.
